With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shawnee Flora of Peru, New York, born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 29. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shawnee Flora to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Halsey Flora, Violet Flora (Jaquish) and Elmer Mattila; and her great-grandparents, Arthur and Irene Cumber.

She is survived by: her parent Dale Flora (Amanda Hadley) of Plattsburgh; her sons, Seth Flora of Morrisonville and Lizarazu Miller, Jr. of Plattsburgh; her close friend Lizarazu Miller of Plattsburgh; her mother Mary Miller (Joseph) of Morrisonville; her siblings, Paige Lewin (Everton) of Plattsburgh, Shane Flora (Amanda Martin) of Plattsburgh, James Flora of Peru, Amika Campbell (Shannon) of Ellenburgh, Troy Flora (Liz) of Keeseville, Michael Flora of Plattsburgh and Leland Baker of Plattsburgh; and her grandmother Mary Cumber (William VanValkenburg) of Plattsburgh. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
