We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 83, Mary Jane Nelson of Peru, New York, born in Jay, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael James and Lettie May Buckley (Crowningshield); her husband Robert Nelson; and her siblings, Irene Labombard (Eli), Francis Buckley, Elizabeth Trombley (Napoleon), Helen Lawrence (Desmond), Reta Paquin (Roland), Kenneth Buckley (Anna) and Mildred Duprey (Phillip).
She is survived by: her children, Carla Arthur (Chuck), Bobby Nelson and Letty Ahrens; her grandchildren, Anne Annibale (Joseph), Charlie Arthur (Bethany), Joshua Arthur (Heather), Bryan Nelson (Julie), Raymond Nelson (Melissa), Shawn Ahrens (Victoria Brown) and Samantha Branchaud (Tony); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Charlie, Jack, Adlee, Paxton and Kenna Arthur; and her grandchildren, Megan, Preston, Lennox, Paxton Nelson, Daisy Ahrens and Robert Branchaud. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
