He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ransom and Irene Ransom (Baker); his wife Janice Dashnaw (Dashnaw); his son Marvin Jr. The; his grandchildren, Casey, Zachary, Caitlyn and Morgan; his children, Brenda Bieber (Mike) of Plattsburgh, Dave Ransom of Peru and Marv Ransom (Denise) of Syracuse; his granddaughter Kayla Bezio (Alex) of Madison, Alabama; his children, Casey Bezio, Zachary Bieber of Plattsburgh, Caitlyn and Morgan Ransom of Syracuse; his brothers, John Ransom (Joni) of Cheney and Gregrory Ransom (Diane) of Plattsburgh; and his stepbrother John Postiglione (Kathy) of Peru. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
