It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Freud of Pearl River, New York, born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friends, Maryann, Dotty, Mary and Betty; her parents, Della Gilligan and Thomas Gilligan; her children, Susanne Cronin (Bill) of Beacon, NY, Cathleen Peslak (Richard) of Highland Lakes, NJ, Michael Freud (Kathy) of Amherst, NH, Richard Freud (Eileen) of Pearl River and Matthew Freud (Nancy) of Shrewsbury, MA; her grandchildren, Timmy (Lisa), Devlin, Liam, Amanda (Jesse), Alex (Bianca), Jamie, Nick, Olivia, Emily O'Neill (Martin), Kaitlyn, Ashley and Kevin; her great grandchildren, Emma, Oliver and Bryce; and her son-in-law Stephen Shand.
A private service will be held at this time due to the Covid 19 Virus.
