She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Shaughnessy and Katherine Shaughnessy; her husband Thomas McLinskey; her brother Jack Shaughnessy; her daughters, Mary Dougherty (Bill), Eileen Shepard (Darren), Sheila Golden (Greg) and Colleen Higgins (Patrick); her grandchildren, Clare, Maureen, Kathleen Dougherty, Kate, Dylan, Andrew Shepard, Conor, Taylor, Reilly Golden, Thomas, Liam, Brendan and Erin Higgins; her great grandchild Henry Shepard Taylor; her sister Eileen Fleming; and her sisters-in-law, Arlene Shaughnessy, Dorothy McLinskey and Kathy McLinskey. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Team KJ Fight Huntington's Disease-Fight HD.org in honor of Denis, Sr. and Kara Fleming.
