He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Wunder; his children, William Wunder, Jr. and Sheri Wunder (Mark Knapp); his grandchildren, Danielle Chandler-Krause, Kyle Krause, Robert Chandler and Logan Wunder; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Linden, Brantley and Laikyn; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Marie Wunder; and his sister Loleta Wunder. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
