He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Butch" Rieg and Dorothy Rieg (Jastremsky). He is survived by: his close friend Amanda Foust; his children, Greyson Rieg, Jaxon Short and Dorothy Rieg; his sister Christina; his brother-in-law Timothy Lynch; his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Bethann Rieg; his nieces, Justina, Kaylie and Evelyn; and his nephew Liam.
