She was predeceased by: her former husband Carlton L. Smith; her husband Everett "Bill" Vergason; and her siblings, Mary Dence, Roger, Karl and Arthur Andrews.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Smith (Darrylin) of Hampstead, NC, Stephen Smith (Pamela) of Ithaca, NY and David Smith (Kathryn) of Brewerton, NY. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
