He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bensley and Anne "Maud" Bensley; his siblings, Doris Eyre, Frederick, Henry, Harold, Robert and Marvin "Dutch" Bensley; his close friend Margaret Morris; his granddaughter Christine Bensley; and his son-in-law Mark Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin Bensley, Jr., David (Ramona Bensley), Roger (Deborah Bensley), Karen Ward and Frederick (Lucille Bensley); his sister Alma "Jeannie" Parsons; and his sisters-in-law, Nelda Bensley and Helen Bensley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
