He was predeceased by: his parents, James Noel and Florence Noel; and his siblings, Roger Noel (Cecil), Madeline Moyer (late Marty), Paul Noel (late Yvette), Geraldine Rigelhof (late Richard), Pauline Noel, Leonard Noel, Annette Potter (Gary) and Linda Noel.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Noel; his sons, Stephen (Megan) and Sean Noel; his grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander Noel; and his siblings, Gloria Quenneville (late Norm), John Noel (Margaret), Robert Noel (Magda) and Anita Murnaghan (David).
In lieu of flowers donations in Joel's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
