He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Joseph and Helen Pierce Cronin; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Feldman (George), Rev. Peter J, S. C., James (Sara) and Gerald Cronin.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cronin (Power); his daughters, Cathleen Fitzgerald (James), Jeannie Cassidy (Mark) and Peggy Cronin; his grandchildren, Katie (Craig), Erin, Kellen, Matthew (Emily), Quinn (Ryan), Mark III, James III, Patrick, Catherine (Steven) and Brendan (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Kevin, Jack, Charlie, Clare, Patrick, Owen, Everly, Layla and Steven John; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Colpoys (late Donald) and Jeannie Calmes (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home (3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at 1140 Abbott Rd, Buffalo, NY 14220.
