He was predeceased by: his parents, George Petre and Nancy Petre. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kitty" Herman; his children, Robert H. Petre, Ann Marie Baker (Edward), Heather Marie Petre and Joanne Rene Petre; and his grandchildren, Edward Baker and Elise "Eli" Petre. He is also survived by 3 nephews.
