She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelia Pinto and Antonio Pinto; her husband George Whalen; her sons, Richard Whalen and Paul Whalen; and her siblings, Emily, Sally, Manny, Paul and Mario.

She is survived by: her son George Whalen (Laureen); and her grandchildren, Meghan, Kristen, Michael, Richard Whalen, Melissa and Richard Zodikoff. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
