He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hathaway (Major) and Harold Hathaway; his daughter Donna L. Hathaway; his sister Ruth; his siblings-in-law, Norbert Sands, Gina (Colone), Martin Patton and Herman Colone; his parents-in-law, Angelina and Philip Colone; his nieces, Annette Colone and Susan Colone; and his nephew Christian Sands.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Colone Hathaway; his daughter Cheryl; his son-in-law Tom Thornton; his daughter Lisa Hathaway; his grandchildren, Ariel Kinsey (Justin Weber), Sean and Brigid Thornton; his great grandchild Evan Weber; and his siblings-in-law, Philip, Jeanette Colone, Arthur, Denise Colone, John, Maryann Colone and Eileen Colone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and so many friends.
