He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Blowers and Shirley Hanson Blowers; his siblings, David Blowers, Nancy Belfrey and Cindy Blowers; and his sons, Boyd and Evan.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Kohler; his siblings, Timmy, John Blowers of Oneida and Barbara Hubbard of Verona; his children, R. Monty (Jennifer Hubbard) of Deltona, FL, Erik Brandon, JD (Cathy Kidwell) of Weddington, NC and Dr. Misty Karina (Laurel MD); and his grandchildren, Kyler, Karley, Jack, Addie, Hank, Samuel, Fletcher, Daisy and Quinn.
