With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank L. Eastman Jr. (Oneida, New York), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank L. and Gladys Rinehard Eastman, Sr.; and his children, Merritt Eastman of Asheville, Jennifer Eastman of Asheville, Cherish Eastman of Oneida, Katelyn Eastman of Canastota, Kriston Eastman of Asheville and Frank L. Eastman III of Oneida. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held at a date and time to be announced.

“I fondly remember Frank and his mother Gladys in Oneida, New York during the 1960's. We were classmates and friends. He was the best man in my wedding at the Oneida Baptist Church on July 4, 1966, which was just before I went to Vietnam. I was also an usher in one of his weddings at the Oneida Hotel. I lost track of him when I returned from Vietnam because I moved to North Carolina. I did return to New York years later but settled in Syracuse, NY. I remember him playing guitar.”
