He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles W. Steck and Harriet Steck; his wife Helen Schraut; his children, Janet Bonnette (Mark) of Coral Springs, Florida, Joseph W. (Barbara) and Charles W.; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Irving (Christopher), Amanda, Nicole, Emery and Juliana; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb; and his sisters, Joan (Walter Restall) and Carolyn O'Brien of Hollister, California. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
