He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miller and Daisy May Miller (Trexler); his wife Hellen Rose Johansen; his son George Porter Miller; and his sister Florence Trexler.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Terri Lynn Stoner (Kenneth Ballard) and Jennifer Lee Miller; and his great grandchildren, Michael Shanahan, II and Ashlee Shanahan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
