He was predeceased by: his mother Marilyn Montpetit (Hayes). He is survived by: his mother-in-law Christina D. VanOstrand; his daughter Megan Marie Montpetit; his father Paul Gilbert Montpetit (Christina); and his sister Jane Montpetit of Ogdensburg, NY..

Donations in his memory can be made to: Thousand Islands Sportsman Club or a trap team or the Black Lake Fish & Game Association trap teams.
