She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Place and Harriette Place (Gallinger); her former husband Kenneth Wainwright; her sister Mary Lou Agel; her brothers-in-law, Gary Goolden and Jeffrey Robinson; and her nephew Jamie Robinson.
She is survived by: her husband John Joly; her children, Margaret "Peggy" A. Carpenter (Larry) of Kalamazoo, MI, Michael K. Wainwright (Dottie) of Russell, Katherine L. Weegar (James Bleau) of Ogdensburg and Nicole E. Joly of Ogdensburg; her stepchildren, Mary L. Wills (Michael) of Ogdensburg and John J. Joly (Leah) of Essex Junction, VT.; her brother Thomas Place of Lake Ozonia; and her brother-in-law Bob Agel of Higley Flow. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
