She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinten Thompson and Helen Thompson (Houppert); her brothers, Lester and Dale Thompson; and her granddaughter Faith Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas "Blackie" LaRose; her daughters, Jessica Burley (David Baranson) of Encinitas, CA and Nicholle Burley of Ogdensburg; her stepchildren, Tami LaRose (Dwayne Corbine) of Ogdensburg and Douglas "Duke" LaRose (Suzanne) of Colton; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Emily Carpenter, Ryland, Maddlyn Pelkey, Miles and Wes Baranson (James Robert Burley); and her sisters, Sonya Vrystein of Coburg, Barbara Parish of Ogdensburg, Marlene Tyo of Ogdensburg, Marilyn Silmser of King, NC, Diane Lemhouse of Ogdensburg, Nancy Irvine of Ogdensburg, Theresa Webb of Knoxville, TN and Lisa Winter of Ogdensburg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
