It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Ahrens (Ogdensburg, New York), born in Windsor, Vermont, who passed away on November 18, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ahrens and Madeline L. Ahrens (Hall); his wife Dorothy Ahrens; and his daughter Mary Anne Ahrens. He is survived by: his children, Marc D. Ahrens (Gina) of Ogdensburg and Lisa M. Decker (John) of Ogdensburg; his sister Sandra L. Hodge (Dick) of Cape Vincent; and his grandchildren, Juliann, Jorden Decker, Matthew, Maxwell and Mollee Ahrens.
