He was predeceased by: his siblings, Helena Rolfe Mashaw, Josephine Menard, Blanche Morley and James J. Rolfe, Sr.; his half-brother Harold Rolfe; and his parents, John Rolfe and Rosella Rolfe (Dier).
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosella M. Turnbull of Ogdensburg, NY and Carol A. Rolfe of Ogdensburg, NY; his stepdaughter Nicole L. Calkins of Lisbon, NY; his siblings, Dorothy Haggert of Ogdensburg, NY, John Rolfe of Arkansas and Martha Williamson of Arkansas; his wife Christine Merria; and his former wife Carol A. Gordon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.
