Dawna Buckhout Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawna Buckhout of Nyack, New York, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Sander and Virginia Sander; her children, Deborah Serphillips (Michael) of West Haven, CT, Christine Joy Buckhout (Joseph Amster) of Valley Cottage, NY and Steven Buckhout (Jean) of Newburgh, NY.; her granddaughters, Jennifer Buckhout of Newburgh and Emmelia Amster of Valley Cottage; her sister Evelyn Barnhart of Greene, NY; her sister-in-law Penny Buckhout of Nyack, NY; her husband LeRoy; and her siblings, Fay and James. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
