“I met Pete while building a custom home on Shelter Island about 19 years or so ago we was working with Rich Gatto. I found him to be pleasant, conscientious, hard working and he wanted to get things right. I was to get to know him in town at St Phillips. He was almost always smiling and pleasant even though he may have been struggling. I'm so sorry he is gone, but he will not be forgotten, he and his family will be in my daily prayers. James O'Donnell”
