He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his parents, Frank Kalista and Catherine Kalista. He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Kalista of North Bellmore and Marion Doyle of Merrick; and his children, Tom Kalista of Converse, TX, Donna Kalista of Rock Island, TN, Steven Kalista of Rock Island, TN, Chris Lyden of Stroudsburg, PA and Frank Kalista III of Belton, TX.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any veteran's services.
