She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Archie and Clara Jane Mills (Olmstead); her husband Bill; her granddaughter Marissa Laurel McCarthy; and her brothers, Francis "Chan" Mills and Theodore Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McCarthy (Rebecca), Robert McCarthy (Lorraine), Joseph McCarthy (Margaret), Thomas McCarthy (Randy Hitesman), Kathleen Campbell (Lewis) and Colleen Yannuzzi (Joseph); her grandchildren, Erin, Megan, Billy, Brandon, Katie, Candace, Dustin, Nicole, Brian, Britni, Danielle and Katelyn; her sister-in-law Arlene Mills; and her friend Gail Murphy. She is also survived by 36 great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter.
