He is survived by: his wife Joan Marshall; his children, Ann Lynette Nickels (Chris) and Scott Frederick Nichols (Suzy); his grandchildren, Bethany Hartwell, Alanna West, Eryn Nichols, Ethan Nickels, Jace Nichols and Sara Nichols; his great grandchildren, Noah West and Alexandra Hartwell; his siblings, Barbara Merrill (John), George Nichols (Virginia), Lois Wasielewski (Frank), Richard Nichols (Cooki) and Dorothy Catron (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Linda Nichols and Bonnie Nichols. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
