She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tinnel and Marge Tinnel (Neilson); her son Bryan Shumway; and her brothers, John, Russell and Shayne Tinnel.

She is survived by: her children, Amanda, Rob Stummer, Todd and Jodi Shumway; her grandchildren, Phoenix, Eva, Shane, Sophia, Saige, Olivia, Lucas and Jacob; and her great grandchild Lucian.
