He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Babcock and Mary Babcock (Tripp); his wife Mina Louise Sherwood; and his siblings, Archie "Buster" Babcock and Virginia Baldwin.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Jr. (Cate Babcock), Wayne Babcock of Rome, Diane (Jack Roboski) and Chet (Shannon Babcock); and his siblings, Harry Babcock of Nichols and Lillian Cheeley of Nichols.
