He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Berger and Ruth A. Berger (Wolfe); his former wife Shirley Berger; and his brother Harold "Bo" Berger. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn L. Berger; his children, Michele L. Berger (Keon) and Arnold; his stepchildren, River Payne, Jenny Payne (Bob), Ellie Briggs (Roger), Carrie Pollak (John) and Beth Young (Dave); his siblings, Joyce "Sue" Hawk, Carl "Pete" Berger, Donald "Don" Berger, Floyd Berger, Norma McQuaid, Russell "Rusty" Berger, Betty Wasser, David Berger and Terry Berger; and his mother-in-law Charlotte Fulbrook. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
