She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Prentiss and Olive Prentiss (Doherty); her brother Jack Carney; her son Jay Barnard; and her grandchildren, Constance and Jay Barnard, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Mark Barnard (Fran) of Newport and Teri Henry (James) of Copenhagen; her sister Barbara Clapps; her grandchildren, Kacie Foster, Karie Bell, Korey Barnard, Brittany Crouse and Cody Golden; and her friends, Bob, Diane Mooney and Angelina Bertolini. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
