He is survived by: his parents, George Sr. Lyga and Elaine Riesel Lyga of Herkimer; his wife Valerie Longway; his children, Nathan Lyga, Kelsey of Newport and Alissa Lyga of Newport; and his brothers, George Lyga (Kim) of New Hartford and Jeff Lyga (Jami) of East Herkimer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
