He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LaVair and Agnes LaVair (Newtown); his wife Catherine V. Berry; and his siblings, Raymond, Elwood, Bernard LaVair, Frank Newton, Bernice LaVair, Elvira Sova, Edna Greenwood and Viola Trim.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Finley of Port Byron, Russell Berry (Harry Clark), Darlene Coe (Kenneth) of Poland, Susan Gee (David) of Cold Brook and Kimberly Ingersoll (Chris); and his brother Kenneth LaVair of Waterville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
