He is survived by: his wife Dawn Byers; his children, Christy Newman St (Philip) and James D. Newman (Cristen) of Danielson, CT; his grandchildren, Ryan Nagel (Lisa Moscoso), Kara Pepin (Michael Pendleton, Jr.), Aaron, Calista, Lincoln Newman, Haley and Madison Smith; his great grandchildren, Beau and Gracelynn Pendleton; and his siblings, Judy Newman (Faith Odit), Carol Young of Cold Brook, Cindy Fitzgerald of Utica and Dale Newman (Sharon). He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
