He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Smith and Mary Smith (Higby); and his brother Donald Smith. He is survived by: his children, Richard Smith (Lorraine) of Little Falls, Marion Braccine of Little Falls, James Smith (Lori) of Fairfield, Frank Jr. Smith (Coleen) of Fairfield, Carol Smith of Salisbury, David Smith and Lora Grower (Eugene) of Norway; his grandchildren, Richard Smith, Jr., Tracy Petkovsek, James Smith, Jr., Tiffony Smith, Michael Smith, Susan Woods, Renee Hunt and Wesley Grower; and also Mary Schrader. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
