He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Nerber (Weaver). He is survived by: his parents, Hobart Nerber and Berniece Nerber (Ogden); his children, Richard B. Nerber, Jr. (Mary Jane Smith), Alan Nerber (Shari Rabatin), Cynthia S. Hueber and Kimberly Benedict (Mark); and his brother Roy Nerber. He is also survived by six grandchildren (special helper Anthony) and several great grandchildren.
