He was predeceased by: his wife Anne E. Martin Peterson; and his siblings, Elmer, Ellen Engert, David, Ruth Fraas, Arthur, Eric, Edith Simmons, Richard and Daniel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Peterson, Jean Walsh (Jeff), Donna Spence (Peter) and Judy Peterson; his grandsons, Lucas Spence (Brianna) and Johnathan Spence (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Elliotte and Alexander Spence. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Newfane Community Food Pantry and Wrights Corners Fire Company.
