He is survived by: his children, Sean Maher of Murrells Inlet and Meghan Malnic (Mark) of Newburgh; his grandchildren, Madeline Maher, Cody Maher and Mason Malnic; and his nephew Frank Maher III (Valerie).

In lieu of flowers those who wish to remember Bill may make contributions in his memory to the Parkinson's Foundation.
