It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Capwell of Newburgh, New York, born in Port Jervis, New York, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Zwart, (Howard Capwell) and Nicholas Zwart, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Theresa Capwell; her grandson Ryan Capwell; her brother Nicholas Zwart, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Elise and Cheryl Zwart.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Capwell; her sons, Bruce (Sandra Capwell), Stephen (Ruth Capwell), Craig (Kim Capwell), Dean (Kelly Capwell) and Scott (Mary Joan Capwell); and her siblings, Brenda (Wayne Holman) of Sarasota, FL and Dennis Zwart of Wallkill, NY.. She is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren and their spouses, twenty great- grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
