She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon P. DuPlessis and Elizabeth DuPlessis (McSpiritt); her husband Curtis Eugene Childs; her brother Dr. Leon P. DuPlessis; and her grandson Max Childs.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Bryson (Lewis) of Millheim, PA, Christopher J. Childs (Katherine) of Newark, NY, Curtis E. Childs, Jr. of Newark, NY and Carl M. C. Childs (Joan) of Williamsburg, VA.; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Thomas, Nora, Sarah, Abbey, Patrick, Evelyn and Liam.
