She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Gudyka and Catherine C. Gudyka (Rozpad); her husband Eugene V. Sampson; her son Daniel Stephen; her brother Joseph Gudyka; her nephew Steven Gudyka; and her siblings-in-law, Irene, Fred, Raymond and Dorothy Sampson.
She is survived by: her son Paul; her daughter-in-law Gayle of Xenia; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Nancy of Greer; and her sisters-in-law, Marcy and Carol Gudyka.
Inurnment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Utica, following the Mass.
Remembrances in Joan's name may be made to the Church of the Sacred Heart & St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa Church Fund.
