With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jan Charas of New York Mills, New York, born in Poland, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Niemiec; his nieces, Grazyna Sucharzewska, Charlotte Piekielniak, Christine LaRocco (Paul), Zosia Lupa (Mike) and Janina Zielinski (Stephen); his nephew Thaddeus Tobiasz (Janina); and his friends, Edward and Donna Piekielniak. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
