He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Carrie Smith (Stoner). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Paulercio); his children, Jeanine (Lawrence Rufo), Lynnette (George Usher), Jacqueline (Brian Prince) and Daniel Valeri (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Michael Rufo, George (Trey), Sam Usher, Rosette, Jack Prince, Nico and Dominic Valeri; and his siblings, Donald Smith and Evelyn Fleagle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
