He is survived by: his parent Eugenia "Effie" Majowski Zolendjeski; his wife Mary Lou Charles; his children, Grant Michael Charles (Irene) and Ruth "Rudy" Charles; and his granddaughter Maria Charles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
