He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Maher and Helen Maher; his sister Kathleen "Aileen" Maher; and his son-in-law Stephen Joyce. He is survived by: his sisters, Sheila, Helen and Catherine; his wife Jo Anne Maher; his children, Michael Maher, Kelly Cullen, Theresa "Traci" Joyce and Patricia "Patty" Fanelli; his sons-in-law, Steven Cullen and Keith Fanelli; and his grandchildren, Autumn Joyce, Raven Joyce, Keith "KJ" Fanelli, Justin Fanelli and Aidan Fanelli.
