He was predeceased by: his daughter Audrey; his sister María Jesús Astondoa; and his brother-in-law José María San Roque. He is survived by: his wife Awilda Astondoa (Willie); his daughters, Wendy Finerty (Dennis) and Christine; his grandsons, Tyler, Brendan, Connor and Sebastian; his sisters, María Antonia (Jesús María Alonso), Marisol Astondoa and María José Astondoa; his brother-in-law Manuel Archanco; and his friend Spain. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
