It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gale Elizabeth Fondonella of Mount Vernon, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Creighton and Aldyth Creighton (Bonney); and her siblings, Ginger Creighton, Gregory Creighton and Gary Creighton.

She is survived by: her children, Janine Rosner (Erik) of West Nyack, Daniel Fondonella (Julie) of Hopewell Junction, Brian Fondonella (Timea Keseru) of Cheyenne, WY and Marcus Thorpe of Peak District, England; her grandchildren, Luke, Evan, Kayla Rosner, Preston, Cole and Grace Fondonella; and her cousins, Shelly Esposito, Kathy Pfister and Bruce Williams.

Donations may be made in Gale's memory to the American Cancer Society.
