He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Geneva; and his sister Barbara Braun. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Donna (Carl Silver), Julie (Chris Graeter) and Melissa (Floyd Vilmont); his grandchildren, Sarah (Adam), Abbie, Ben Silver, Alex, Nick, Lizzie Graeter, Melissa Ann Sears (Paul) and Payton Jo Vilmont; and his siblings, Annabelle LaForest, Marilyn Provoncha (Gary), Russell Gadway (Pam), Mike Gadway (Jana), Ronnie Gadway and Jeff Gadway (Lori).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's name to McClure Miller Respite House or St. Ann's Church.
