She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Pere; and her brother Randy Pere. She is survived by: her husband James DeSimone; her children, Jason DeSimone of South Carolina, Thomas DeSimone (Sabrina Santos) of Albany and Amanda DeSimone of Monticello; her brother Raymond Pere (Holli D'Angelo) of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Ryleigh Schoonmaker of Swan Lake and Camryn D'Angelo of Swan Lake.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Sunshine or Backpack Program at Monticello Elementary Schools in memory of Mrs. DeSimone.
